Marguerite Desmarais is a descendant of an Acadian
Antoine Maheu, son of Louis Maheu and Josette Deganne, and Marguerite Marest, daughter of Louis Marest dit Marest and Catherine Forest, were married 16 Jun 1795 in the parish of L'Assomption, Bas-Canada. [1]
