Biography

George was born in 1915. He was the son of Herbert Devey and Irene Shaw. When George Samuel Devey was born on September 8, 1915, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his father, Herbert, was 31 and his mother, Irene, was 26. He married Claire Louse Oldham on May 18, 1939. They had one child during their marriage. He died on December 7, 1986, in Okeechobee, Florida, at the age of 71.
