Biography

When George Moses Devey was born in June 1852 in Bradeley, Staffordshire, England, his father, Samuel Devey, was 25 and his mother, Ann Jenks, was 21. He married Mary Jane Whittle on December 25, 1873, in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. They had nine children in 18 years. He died in June 1912 in Cannock, Staffordshire, England, at the age of 60.
