Biography

A Convict. On 8/3/1841 date of trial, Staffordshire, William, aged 18 - imprisonment for 3 months & whipped 1 day. On 30/12/1844 date of trial, Staffordshire - sentenced to 7 years. Aged 21, Nat Place, Bridgenorth. Left Woolwich 7/6/1845.

Arrived at Maria Island, Tasmania on 16/9/1845 on board "Marion 2" as a convict. Ticket of Leave was given on 21/8/1849 and a Free Certificate was granted on 2/1/1852.

He was a carpenter

Died aged 43 of paralysis
