Biography

Henry was born in 1878. He is the son of Reason Dew and Julia Hines.^[1]

Zanesville Signal, March 8, 1934 HENRY A DEW DIES OF HEART ATTACK Henry A. Dew, 55, died Wednesday evening at his home, 433 Jackson street, following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for three years, however. A native of Burr Oak, he had made his home for several years in this city, and was formerly employed by the New York Central railroad company at Corning. While in this city, he was an employee of the Dutro Body-Fender company. Mr. Dew was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Bishopville. Surviving are two sons, Mendell E of St Louis and Henry D. of Nelsonville; one daughter, Mrs. Nina Kerr, of the home; three brothers, Joseph of Cincinnati, Nile of Chauncey and Matson of Corning; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Marshall of Fostoria, Mrs. Lola Kirkbride of Steubenville and Mrs. Blanche Shell of Corning; and four grandchildren. The body is at the Keck Funeral Home.
