Biography

Margareth was born in 1837. Her parents were Wallace Dew and and Mary Jane (Lamar). There is info on Dew lineage in book cited in Sources.

In 1850 she is 13 and living with her parents and siblings, along with Spencer family in Illinois. [1]

She married Joseph Parks on 15 Apr 1862 in Illinois. [2]He was born in 1830 in Illinois. He died 25 Mar 1898, likely in Illinois.

They had six children:

  1. Charles L (1863-before 1915)
  2. Elmer E (1866-1934)
  3. William A (1869-1942)
  4. Doris C (1874-1927)
  5. Clara (1879-1966)
  6. (unidentified child) - Died in infancy.

In 1880 she is living with husband and five children in Illinois. [3]

She passed away in 1915. Buried in Category:Laurel Hill Cemetery, Havana, Illinois. Find A Grave: Memorial #132063998
