Biography

Cornelius was born in 1748. He was the son of Cornelius Deweese and Ruth Draper. He passed away in 1791. The Dewees family history has the death date as 1799, in Kent, DE --, 1799^[1]

Cornelius married Elizabeth and they had six children: Cornelius, Thirza, Sarah, Mahala, Nehemiah, and Draper Alexander.
