Biography

"(V) John Dewey, son of John and Experience (Woodward) Dewey, was born December 12, 1735, at Lebanon, Connecticut, and died June 11, 1830, aged ninety-four years. He married, November 18, 1756, Rhoda Gillitt, and they were the parents of children: Darius, Rebecca, Rhoda, John Woodward, of whom further; Bezaleel, Philova, Ebenezer, died young; Ebenezer, Belinda, and Nathan."[1]
