Biography

Mary Dewey was born 02 Oct 1843 in Berlin, Washington Co, Vermont. She was the daughter of William Dewey and his wife Hannah Hurlbut. Mary married William Brown in 1869; the couple lived all their lives in Berlin. Together they had five children: Arthur Carroll, Charles Dewey, Mabel Hannah, Mary Emma, and Wilbur Fisk. Mary Brown died 14 Jan 1917 in Berlin and was buried in Green Mount Cemetery in Montpelier, Vermont.
