Biography

Carrie was born in 1879 in New York, likely Chautauqua county. She was the daughter of Laurin Dewey and Grace Marsh.

She moved with her parents to Byron, Monroe, Wisconsin. They were there in 1880.^[1]

They were in Grandview, Rhea, Tennessee in 1900.^[2]

She was living with her mother Grace in Fairview, Yakima, Washington in 1910.^[3] They were in Muir, Franklin, Washington in 1920 in the household of her married sister Madora (Dewey) Foster.^[4] She and her mother were in Hanford, Benton, Washington in 1930.^[5]

She was working as a maid for the George W. Thurman family in Quincy, Columbia, Oregon in 1940.^[6]

She passed away in 1964.^[7]
