William Dewey, son of William and Elizabeth (Wattles) Dewey, was born on 28 Nov. 1815 at East Sidney, Sidney, Delaware, New York.[1]
He married Caroline Wattles, daughter of Nathaniel and Emily (Birdsall) Wattles, on 23 Jan. 1850 at East Sidney, Sidney, Delaware, New York.[1]
William died on 16 March 1890 at Sidney Center, Sidney, Delaware, New York[1] and was buried at East Sidney Cemetery, Delaware County, New York. His memorial has a photo of his memorial monument and links to those of family members.[2]
