Research Notes

Ashley was entered as a Middle Name, but no sources has any middle name. The middle name was also on Find a Grave, but has been removed. The owner of Find A Grave: Memorial #35314289 stated that he thought it came from some Rev War papers, but he is not sure, so he has removed it from Find a Grave.

Wilcox was entered as a Middle Name, but no sources has any middle name.

  • Incorrect marriage / children relationship
    • Mack Genealogy incorrectly states Temperance Kilburn, b 1748, married Ebenezer Dewey and had 7 children. [21]. Temperance Kilburn was born 1748, so she could not have married Ebenezer in 1760.
    • Ebenezer Dewey married Temperance Holdridge in 1760 Primary sources, ie Connecticut Marriages and Vital Records, so Mack Genealogy is incorrect for mother's name of these children of Ebenezer Dewey
