Solomon Dewey was born March 2, 1750, in Lebanon, Connecticut. He was the son of Solomon Dewey and his wife, Anna Downer. He married Christiana Cone on July 30, 1772, in Bolton, Connecticut. Dewey died January 27, 1813, in Leverett, Massachusetts.
