Isiah Dexter, son of Seth Dexter and Mary Kirby was born Dec 31 1752.[1]
He married Mary Davis, 29 Oct 1775 in Rochester, Plymouth, Mass. [1][2]
They had three children
Rebecca Dexter; m Charles Chandler
Edith Dexter; m - Washburn
Lydia Dexter; m. Thomas Sherman.
Corporal Isaiah Dexter served with 4th Regiment, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
He served in the American Revolution in 1775 [3][4][5]
Probate
Isaiah Dexter of Rochester, yeoman died intestate and on 8 September 1784, his widow Mary was granted the administration of his estate.[6]
His inventory was taken on 27 October 1784 in Rochester.[7]
In 1793, Joseph Leavitt of Rochester was appointed guardian of his daughters, Nancy, and Recebba, who were under the age of 14; and Lydia, who was above the age of 14 years, made the choice of Joseph Leavitt to be her guardian.[8]

According to Warden, Isaiah and Mary had two other daughters:
Edith, who married a Washburn and Lydia who married Thomas Sherman.
