George Dexter, son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Province) Dexter, was born on 2 July 1799 at Albany, New York.^[1][2]

He married Mary Magdalen Cuyler, daughter of John C. and Hannah (Maley) Cuyler, on 5 April 1827 at Albany, New York.^[1][2]

George died on 21 July 1883 at Albany.^[1]
