Ted Dey was a boat-builder, ice arena owner, and co-owner of the Ottawa Senators hockey team from 1917 until 1923.

Born in 1864, he was a son of Joseph Dey and Annie Buckley. He married Edith Fairbanks Hunt.

He died in 1943 in New Westminster, British Columbia, where he had moved in 1932.
