By 1900, the family was living in various households. Raymond was boarding with the Johnson family, giving his marital status as single. and his profession as farmer. [2] The children are living in Gay Head with their eldest sister Annie Madison Jarred, who was divorced. The household included Annie's son Alonzo, and her siblings Sara, 15; Isaac, 14 (an epilectic) ; Abel N, 13; Nehemiah, 12; and Hezekiah, 10.[3]
By 1910, Raymond was living with his mother Ann Foster, age 73.[4]
Rozetta was living in Gay Head in 1910. She states she has been married 29 years, she had seventeen children, thirteen of whom are still living. She is a washerwoman.[5]
