COBLESKILL TIMES: DIVISION STREET: COBLESKILL: SCHOHARIE COUNTY: NEW YORK 27 July 1933 MILES DIAMOND SCHOHARIE: Funeral services were held last Wednesday for Miles Diamond, 60, who died Monday, 17th July following a long illness of cancer. He was born in the Town of Middleburgh,son of the late George Diamond. About 12 years ago he came to Schoharie to engage in farming and has since lived here. Survivors include his widow; four daughters: Mrs William Gloss of Schenectady, Mrs Fred Hiller of Albany, Mrs Edward Borst and Miss Vita Diamond, Schoharie; two sons: Houck and Cecil Diamond of Schoharie; two sisters: Elizabeth and Maude Diamond; four brothers: David,Henry, Coleman, and George Diamond, all of Middleburgh. Funeral services were held at the home of his sister, Elizabeth Diamond of Middleburgh. Interment was made in the Middleburgh Cemetery.
