Ambrose Dibble was a farmer who came from Somerset in the early 80's. He had a large dairy herd at Mt Roskill supplying Auckland when he married. .. Father developed Rheumatic Gout and became crippled with it and confined to bed for long periods and had to resort to crutches when up and about. He failed in business as a consequence.
Anbrose's grave is at Holy Trinity Memorial Park, Otahuhu 22-24 Church Street Auckland. Block A Plot 12. [1] Block A Row 2 Plot 12 Headstone inscription: "In loving memory of Ambrose Dibble who departed this life on 8th June 1915 aged 54 years". [2] The grave is next to that of his wife, at Plot 11.
