Biography

Will of Weakefield Dibble of Danbury was dated 18 Feb 1758 and proved 4 Sep 1759 in Danbury. Names his wife Abigail; father-in-law, Ebenezer Bostwick of Danbury, deceased; and his children Ezra, Abigail, Rebecka, and Hanah Starr Dibble. Wife Abigail and uncle Comfort Starr of Danbury executors. A Codicil 18 Feb 1758 makes provision for expected child.[1] His inventory was taken in October 1759 in Danbury.[2]

In 1761, his estate distribution is set out to his widow Abigail, now wife of Joshua Knapp of Danbury, Anna Dibble, Ezra Dibble, Abigail Dibble, Rebecka Dibble, and Hannah Starr Dibble.[3]
