Jesse was born in 1824. He is the son of Joseph Dibley.

According to My Heritage site listed as 1827-1906, not 1824 as above on Census.
Was father of Wellington and at least 6 other children.
- In the 1860 US Census Jesse is listed as 33, making him born 1827, so quite confusing.
Assets marked as $800US land, and $700US personal assets. Listed as a Miller. Seems to be sharing the same address as his cousin Alfred Fowle, also listed as a Miller. So probably living at the Mill in town and sharing the property and assets. Jesse has the larger share of the assets apparently, or his estimate is higher.
