Biography

Matilda (Dickens) West was a Tennessean.

Matilda was born in 1835 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of John A. Dickens and Nancy (Crosslin) Dickens. She married Martin West on 15 Oct 1866 in Smith County, Tennessee (as his second wife). They had two children together:

Elijah Hamilton Hamp West (1870-1943)

Annie Elizabeth West (1875-1958)

She passed away in 1885 in Macon, Tennessee and is buried at the Dickens Cemetery in Sunrise, Macon County, Tennessee
