Sydney was born in 1899. He was the son of Frederick Dickens and Mary Dickens.
In 1919, Sydney James Dickens married Elsie Farmer in Staffordshire, England.[1]
In 1920, Elsie and Sydney James travelled to Australia from London aboard the "Bahio Castillo", arriving on the 17th April 1920.[2]
He passed away in 1968. [3]
