Biography

Henry W. Dickey was born about 1839 in Talbot County, Georgia. He was the son of Owen Dickey and his wife Clarissa. [1] Henry married Demarious Sanders in 1860. [2] During the Civil War, Henry enlisted in Company E, Alabama 6th Infantry Regiment. [3] Henry appears to have made it through the war and then died shortly before 1870 at which point his wife is enumerated without him on the federal census. [4]
