Biography

Nathaniel was born in 1720. He died in 1775.

1776 - May 16 – VA Spotsylvania – Will Abstract- Nathaniel Dickinson (Dickenson)- Proved. Witnesses: Andrew Manning, John Coleman, Hannah Coleman – Wife Elizabeth all my estate, real and personal, during her natural life and then to be divided among the following: Nathaniel Dickinson, Richard Dickinson, William Dickinson, Elijah Dickinson, Betty Dickinson Pulliam, Fanny Dickenson Garton. But if the said Fanny Garton should marry, she may enjoy her part during her life, and at her death it shall return to Elijah Garton’s children. (Crozier 1955, p. 157)[1]

The DAR record for Nathaniel Dickinson has a correction that notes Richard is his nephew, not his son.[2]
