Peter's birthdate is found in the Woodstock Anglican Church Records where he was baptised. He was likely named after his uncle. Peter Dickinson & Lydia Philips were married with the consent of their parents by J. Dibble Rec. of Woodstock March 3, 1813. Witness were Caleb Philips & Joseph Wolverton. Peter Dickinson Junior's name is mentioned on a Land Grant to William Turner & 87 others for the Parish of Wakefied in 1809. Peter received lot #15 as well as lot# 19 & lot#20 in Wakefield.
