Biography

Josiah Simeon Dickinson was born January 24, 1829 in East Haven, Connecticut to Lemuel and Mary (Lyon) Dickinson. He married Louise Spencer on March 23, 1851 in Westbrook, Connecticut. They were the parents of Eva (1852-1853), George W. (1854-1891), Norman R. (born and died in 1858), and Florence Louise (1862-1945). He died March 1, 1898 at the age of 69 in Denver, Colorado and was buried in Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
