Sarah is living with her mother, and brother, in Washinton Township, Wayne County, Indiana. She is assisting with the household expenses with her occupation as a seamstress. This census states she was born in Indiana while her death certificate states she was born in North Carolina. Her mother owns their residence, and it is valued at $1000.
Ellanora is buried in the South Side Cemetery in Milton, Wayne County, Indiana. Her death certificate has not been located however, her gravestone and site have been located and photographed. Her gravestone was located with that of the other members of his family and stacked together then photographed. The individuals that maintained the cemetery at that time would take stones that were loose or had fallen down and just stack them up beside the fence. They did not have any interest in preserving the information contained on the stones just in removing them out of the way in order to mow.
