Biography

WILLIAM DICKSON Jr, son of William Dickson,Sr & Mary Davis, was born on March 05,1807 in Portsmouth,Virginia, 54 years before the American civil War (Thomas Jefferson's 6th year as 3rd U.S.President). He never married. 'Willie' died on June 01,1898 at his home on Bute Street in Norfolk,Virginia (William McKinley's 2nd year as 25th President) and is buried in Norfolk's Elmwood Cemetery with his brother, Richard(1), and other family members.
