Theodore was born in 1935. He passed away in 2011.
Theodore prided himself on being from the Pointe Noir area where he did most of the fishing and hunting that he loved. He was an all around fisherman, even fishing holes by hand. He enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer: family, outdoor cooking, gardening, hunting, playing cards, listening to French music, and singing the ding-a-ding song to make his little grandchildren dance. Enjoying these simple things is where he found God because God is in the simple things. He married his grade-school sweetheart. They fell in love on the Richard Elementary School playground where he would give her Mary Jane candy. A promise to God to help a newborn grandson, Travis, strengthened his faith and kept him strong.
