James Diggs was a civil rights leader, college president, pastor, football coach, and one of the 29 founders of the Niagara Movement.
James was born on 7 Nov 1866 in Upper Marlboro, Prince George's, Maryland, United States of America.[1]
James married Alberta Matilda Pack on 5 Jun 1901 in Hinton, Summers County, West Virginia.[2] They had at least six children.[3]
He passed away at his home in Balitmore, Maryland on 14 Apr 1923.[4]
