Henry, son of William Dill and Cecilia Jones, was born on 14 May 1905 at Huron, Ontario, Canada.^[1] He died 23 Sep 1975 at Livonia, Wayne, Michigan.^[2]

He married Lillian Hillman on 29 Jun 1929, at Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.^[3]

• The 1911 Canada Census at Huron South Sub-Districts 1-40, Ontario, Canada, listed Henry S Dill born May 1905 Ontario, Canada, Father is William Dell 49 , Mother is Cecilia Dill 48, Henry is 6, his brother, Robert G. Dill is 11. All in the household were born in Ontario, Canada. Religion is Anglican.^[4]
• The 1920 census of Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, listed Harry Dill (son, 14) with his father William Dill (57, married, parents b. Canada, lathe machinist-factory), mother Cecilia (57, father b. England, mother b. Scotland), and brother Gordon (19, toolmaker-factory). All were b. in Canada, immigrated 1919, and alien (not naturalized).^[5]
