Researchers Notes

It is believed that John died in Drysdale Parish, Carolina county, Virginia. Note: Caroline County was founded in March 1727 from the Counties of Essex, King & Queen, and King William.

His son, John Dillard, Jr. was born before 1740, in St Mark's Parish, Culpeper county, Virginia.

Dillard-1473 and Dillard-1390 appear to represent the same person because: These are duplicates - one had been confused with the Pittsylvania Dillard family because the Early Colonial Settlers of Southern Maryland and Virginia's Northern Neck Counties also has the two men confused.
