Peter Dillon was born 6 February 06 1752 in New Garden, Guilford, North Carolina, the son of Daniel Dillon and Lydia Brewer Hodgins.

He married Elizabeth Haworth. They had at least one daughter Jemima.

He died 2 Oct 1832 in Greene Co, Tennessee.
