Daughter of William Dillon (1805-?) and Emerilla Neely (1811-1879).
Name also given as Emmaline.
Sister of Rebecca Dillon, Joshua Presley’s second wife.
Emerilla Dillon married Joshua Presley (1829-1900) in 1849. They had nine children: Ephraim Edward (1851-1916); Rebecca Jane “Becky” (1853-1940); James H. (1856-after 1920); William Floyd (1858-1935); Ophelia “Telia” (1865-after 1887); John Perry (1867-1932); Matilda E. "Tilda" (1871-1957); Samuel Paris (1872-1963); Crockett Harrison (1875-1958).
Joshua was granted a divorce from Emmarilla on 28 November 1881 in McDowell County, West Virginia[1].
