Muswellbrook Chronical 28-1-1949 page 1.^[4] The death of Mr John Dillon took place at Muswellbrook on the 21st. He was a resident of Muswellbrook before going to live at Hurstville. He was predeceased by his wife and leaves one daughter, Mrs Jack Gardiner of Hurstville. During the war years the late Mr Dillon gave invaluable help in patriotic work.
