Obituary Edith (Dillon) Zieff, 92, of Silsbee Street, Lynn died on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Life Care Center of the North Shore in Lynn where she had been a resident for the past three years. She was the wife of the late Bernard Zieff who died in 1990. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 7, 1913, she was a daughter of Russian immigrants - the late Sam and Ida (Bernstein) Dillon. Mrs. Zieff had been employed as a shoe shop worker for Resorters in Lynn prior to her retirement. One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo. She leaves two daughters: Joan DiThomas of Lynn and Wilma Patten of Melrose; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lena Rudnick, Harry Dillon, Saul Dillon, Eli Dillon and Sara Dillon. Funeral services and burial will be private.
