NEW BRAUNFELS — Helen Adell Alexander, 82, graduated from the University of Texas, Austin in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Micro-Biology. She married Grover Alexander on Aug. 17, 1957. They were members of Manchaca United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and researching her family’s genealogy. She is survived by her husband, Grover L. Alexander; son, Rex Alexander of Alvin, TX; daughter, Beverly Alexander of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, Dyana Karcher and husband Matt of Celina, TX and Christina Brune of Spicewood, TX; sister, Mary Frances Miertschin of Stephenville, TX; and two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.[1]
