Biography

Caroline Dills, daughter of Neil Dills and Harriet Watts, was born on 20 June 1878 in Macon County, North Carolina. She passed away on 4 December 1956 in Whitfield County, Georgia^[1] and is buried in Dogwood Valley Cemetery, Catoosa County, Georgia.

Caroline married Gus Hardy on 1 June 1890 in Catoosa County, Georgia. She traveled to Georgia with her father when he left North Carolina.

Gus and Caroline lived in Catoosa County, Georgia until about 1917 when they moved to Hamilton County, Tennessee. By 1930 they had returned to Trickum, Whitfield County, Georgia where they remained.
