Biography

Son of Capt John & Elizabeth (Wheeler) Dimon

Married Lois Bradley 6 Dec 1770 in CT - parents of Jesse, Arah, Huldah, Anna, Abel, Eunice, Bradley & a second Abel

He was appointed Ensign of the 4th Co., 4th Reg in May 1776 and Lieut. in May 1779

Daniel was a builder who built several homes and he built the 4th Congregational church in 1785

He is buried at Old Burying Ground, Fairfield, Fairfield, CT

His will is dated 6 February 1804 and proved on 13 October 1808 in Fairfield.[1]

His inventory was completed on 23 December 1808 in Fairfield.[2]

In 1811, the estate distribution was set out in a note by Jesse Dimon's agent to Abel Dimon, Bradley Dimon, Huldah Zimmerman, Anna Dimon, Eunice Dimon, and the widow.[3]
