(Susanna) Susan Lean was born about 1825. She was the daughter of William Lean and Mary unknown.

In 1844, Susan married Roger Lean. The marriage was registered in St Austell, Cornwall. [2]
In 1851, Susan and her husband were residing in St Michael Carhaeys, Cornwall. They had three daughters. [3]
In 1871, Susan and her husband were living in Kea, Cornwall. The couple had five children in the home. Susan was 46-years-old. [4]
In 1881, Susan and her husband were living in St Feock, Cornwall. Also in the household was their 16-year-old son, Henry. [5]
In 1891, Susan and her husband were living in the same area. Susan was 66-years-old. [6]
Susan was widowed and in 1901, she was living with her daughter, Emma and her family in St Stephen in Brannel, Cornwall. Susan was 77-years-old. [7]
Susanna Lean passed away in 1909. Her death was registered in St Austell, Cornwall. [8]

Susan's last name at birth was Lean. Her husband's last name was also Lean. This is confirmed by the marriage and the birth registration of children.

Hi Paul, I've looked at a couple of children's birth registrations, confused as I couldn't find Dingle as the mother's maiden surname and then I found the marriage between Susannah and Roger - her last name was Lean also, not Dingle.
