Origin

Joan was the daughter of Sir John Dynham of of Hartland, Devon, England.^[1]

Birth date 1370 is a guess, based on the birth of her husband, 1358, death of her mother by 1369, and the birth of her son, 1401.

Family

Joan married before May 1400 to Sir Maurice Berkeley, son of Thomas Berkeley and Catherine Botetourt.^[1] Maurice died on 2 October 1400. At that point, they had no children, but Maurice was born some months later.^[1]

Death and Legacy

Joan died 22 August 1412,^[1] probably at Uley, Gloucestershire, England.
