Biography

Garnet Irvine Dinsmore was born 17 Feb 1897 Richmond, BC. He was a soldier on active duty when he married Lillian Agnes Terry, daughter of William George Terry, on 12 Mar 1919 in St. Marylebone, Westminster, England. [1] They lived in New Westminster in 1927. [2] In 1929, Garnet and Lillian emigrated to the U.S. and by 1930 were living in Los Angeles, California with their son Terrence, 9 and daughter Jacquiline, 5. [3] They were in Pasadena in 1940. [4] Garnet died 29 Apr 1957 in Reno, Nevada and was buried in Vancouver.
