Biography
Marie Marguerite was born January 7th 1763, she was the daughter of Charles Dion and his wife Marguerite Duplessis (Marie-Marguerite Duplessis). She was baptized the same day in Lorette. Godparents were Jean Allain and Catherine Allain (possibly her grandmother Catherine Alain), neither could not sign.[1]
On January 29th 1782, in Lorette, Charles Beaumont, son of Bonaventure Beaumont, widower of Thérèse Voyer, married Marguerite Dion, daughter of Charles Dion and Marguerite Duplessis (Marie-Marguerite Duplessis) of this parish. Witnesses were: Groom- Bonaventure Beaumont, his uncle (Pierre Voyer); Bride- Her father Charles Dion, her uncle François Dion. None of the parties could sign.[2]
Charles Beaumont, and Marguerite Dion had a son about December 21st 1782. He was baptized provisionally (ondoyé au moment de la naissance) and died shorty after. He was interred in the Lorette parish cemetery December 21st 1782.[3]
Six days later Marguerite Dion, wife of Bonaventure Beaumont (Charles Beaumont), died on December 27th 1782 at the age of about 20 years. She was buried in the Lorette parish cemetery on December 28th 1782. No witnesses named and none could sign.[4]
