A Dippel (Diewel, Tipple, Dipple, Teeple) family came to NY from Germany in 1710 with the Palatine movement from the Rhine Valley. One family (perhaps a brother?) settled in NJ; the other in Columbia County, NY. See Dipple-10. Suggest you take a Y-DNA test to prove you belong to this line. Write to me [email address removed]

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
