Biography

Peter was born in about 1670 in Flamborn (prob.), Alzey, Pfalz, Germany. He was the son of Hans Valentin Dipple and Anna Ottilia Frolich.[1]

Peter was baptised on 16 April 1689 at 6762 Oberndorf, Germany. Note: but may be a different person? "Oberndorf was home to the N.Y. Spohns and some of the emigrant Frolichs, but more research is needed to firmly determine that this child is our Rhinebeck settler." [Jones][2]

When Peter was about 10 he married Anna* Catherina Krost before 1700. The couple had 8 children: Anna Maria Dipple, Anna Eva Dipple, Anna Catharina Dipple, Adam Tipple, Susanna Dipple, Christina Dipple, Johann Peter Dipple and Barbara Dipple.
