Anna Maria was the daughter of Johan Peter Diebel. She was confirmed on October 14, 1716 at Rheinbeck and married Bernhardt Zipperly on May 16, 1721.[1] Birth estimate inferred from marriage date.
Identified by Jones as the daughter of Johann Peter Diewel and Anna Catharina Krost confirmed at West Camp(?) Nov. 23 1711 and as wife of Barent Zipperle m. May 16 1721 at Kingston (p. 161).
Kingston marriage record May 16 1721 for Barent Siperly and Marytjen Tiepel, #460 in Hoes, says both born in [Germany] and resident in Dutchess Co.
Legacy Note
Note: Don Teeple [email address removed] quotes from the "Records of the Dutch Reformed Church- Albany, New York" page #20 (for year 1766):
July 13. bo. May 10. Yzaac, of Johan Melchert Fyle and Elisabeth Hansinger. Wit.: Barent and Anna M. Zippersleyn.
(shows a child of Johan M Fyle (Isaac) bapt on July 13 1766...born May 10th......witnesses to bapt are: Barent and Anna M Zippersleyn (actually they are Johan Bernhardt Zipperle Jr (son of Johan Bernhardt Zipperle Sr/Anna Maria Christina Reichard).... and his wife Anna Maria Dippel/Teeple (dau of Peter Dippel/Teeple, Anna Maria Krost of Rhinebeck)
This is 1st ref I have seen of this Zipperle family in Albany....as I have seen references to them in Rhinebeck previously and lost them after their marriage in 16 May 1721 @ Kingston Ref church......
Bapt actually took place in Albany at the church as if not would have been noted as per other entries......
