Biography

Anna was born in Lazarfeld, Torontal, Austria-Hungary. She married Janos Weiss in January 1901. Their first child and only son Filipp, was born in September 1901. He passed away in December at 3 months of age. They then had two girls, Elisabetha in 1902 and Margaretha in 1904. In 1906 the family immigrated to the U.S. They settled in New York city and in 1907 welcomed a third daughter, Anna. On 13 Jul 1928, she filed a petition for Naturalization which was granted in 1929. She died in 1956.
