Note N473MARY ALICE DISHMAN PIERCY, age 76, passed away Sunday, June 13, 1999 at the Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born January 20, 1923, the daughter of E. M. and Lindy Dishman. Both parents preceded her in death. On January 25, 1938 she married Essie Ray Piercy, who survives. She is also survived by 7 children Eva Smith Buck of Jamestown, Tennessee, Ella Piercy of Phelps, Kentucky, Robert, Mack, Frank, Don and Dallas Piercy, all of Monticello, Kentucky; 1 sister Telle Brown of Jamestown, Tennessee; 2 brothers Howard Dishman of Monticello, Kentucky and Hubert Dishman of Jamestown, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death are 4 children, Neva, Hershal, Lee and Paul Piercy; 2 sisters Elva Brown and Delpha Dishman; and 3 brothers Minzo, Elvis and Bertie Dishman. She had accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and became a member of the Dry Hollow Baptist Church. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 16, 1999 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Darrell Dishman and Brother Corb Hicks officiating. Burial was in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
