Biography

Jess Samuel Dishman was born on May 18, 1902 in Greer County, Oklahoma. He and his family moved to Foard County, Texas when he was still very young.

About 1926, at the age of twenty four, he met and married Ethyl McLaren in Foard County. Four children (two sons and two daughters) were born to them. Their marriage continued for more than forty seven years - until Ethyl's death on August 17, 1973. Jess Dishman passed away twelve years later on August 30, 1985. ^[1]
